Back home I'm pretty tall (I'm 5'7")... but in relation to the people here I feel lost in a forest in a forest full of hugely tall people. The campus is flooded with athletes the first few days of orientation (they arrive earlier) and they seem to be ALL OVER SIX FEET TALL. Yes, this includes girls. So my recommendation: if you can wear shoes with an insole or a heel the first few days to boost your confidence, do it.
